Tuna Fish Pie with Cheese Roll Crust

 Ingredients:

½ Cup chopped green pepper
2 slices onion chopped
3 tablespoons butter
6 tablespoons flour
½ teaspoon salt
3 cups milk
1 large can tuna fish (drained)
1 tablespoon lemon juice

Cheese rolls
1½ cups flour
3 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
3 tablespoons shortening
½ cup milk
¾ cup grated cheese
2 pimentos, chopped

 Directions:

Melt butter, add green pepper and onion, cook until soft. add flour, stir until well blended. Add salt, then milk slowly, stir until thick and smooth, then boil two minutes; add remaining ingredients: pour into a large baking dish and cook with cheese rolls.

Cheese rolls:
Sift together flour, baking powder and salt. Add shortening and mix. Add liquid to make soft dough. Roll out in a sheet quite thin, sprinkle with cheese and pimento, roll up like a jelly roll, cut with sharp knife, into small biscuits and place on top.
