Ingredients: ½ cup shortening nut/coconut topping: |

Directions: Mix shortening, sugar and flour together well. Use pastry blender or 2 forks. Press and flatten with hand to cover bottom of ungreased 13" X 9" oblong pan. Bake 10 minutes at 350 degrees, then spread with nut/coconut topping. Topping: After spreading with topping, return to oven and bake 25 minutes more till topping is golden brown. Cool slightly, then cut into bars. Yield about 30 bars 1" X 3". |
