Spaghetti and Cheese Squares

 Ingredients:

1 cup uncooked spaghetti, broken small
1 cup milk
1¼ cups bread crumbs
1 cup American cheese, grated
3 eggs, beaten
1 tablespoon onion, minced
1 tablespoon chopped pimento
2 tablespoons chopped green pepper
1 tablespoon parsley, chopped
1 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
2 tablespoon melted butter

 Directions:

Cook spaghetti according to package direction and drain. Scald milk and pour over bread crumbs. Allow to stand 5 minutes, then combine with spaghetti. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Turn into a greased 8" square pan and bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes. Cut in squares and serve with catsup or mushroom sauce.

NOTE: The milk and cheese make this a complete main dish for lunch or supper. Macaroni or noodles may be substituted for the spaghetti.
