½ cup shortening
1¾ cups sugar
2 eggs
2 cups flour
3 teaspoons baking powder
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon cinnamon
½ teaspoon ginger
½ teaspoon nutmeg
1 cup pumpkin
¾ cup milk
½ teaspoon baking soda
½ cup chopped nut meats
Directions:
Mix same as any other cake, but mix pumpkin with milk and
baking soda.
