Peanut Butter Cake

 Ingredients:

2 cups sifted cake flour
1 1/3 cups sugar
1 teaspoon salt
3 teaspoons baking powder
½ cup shortening
1/3 cup peanut butter
1 cup milk
2 medium whole eggs (unbeaten)

 Directions:

Sift dry ingredients together. Add shortening and peanut butter, 2/3 of the cup of milk. Beat two minutes with electric beater. Then add other 1/3 cup of milk and the eggs. Then beat two more minutes (#3 speed). Pour into layer cake pans. Bake 30 to 35 minutes at 350 degrees.
