Midnight Cake

 Ingredients:

½ cup shortening
1¼ cup sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1 cup hot cocoa
1½ cups cake flour
½ teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon vanilla

 Directions:

Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs. Add hot cocoa alternately with sifted dry ingredients to creamed mixture. Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees.
