Fudge Frosted Brownies

 Ingredients:

½ cup shortening
1 cup sugar
2 eggs, beaten
2 1-ounce squares unsweetened chocolate
1 teaspoon vanilla
½ cup flour
½ cup chopped walnuts

Frosting:
1 cup sifted confectioners sugar
1 tablespoon cocoa
2 tablespoons cream
1 tablespoon butter

 Directions:

Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs and beat thoroughly. Blend in melted chocolate and vanilla. Stir in flour and chopped walnuts. Pour into greased 8" x 8" x 2" pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 35 minutes. When brownies are done, lightly press around edges of pan with bottom of glass to make top level. Cool, spread with frosting.

Frosting:
Combine confectioners sugar cocoa, cream and butter. Cook until mixture boils aroud side of pan. Remove from heat. Beat until frosting is of spreading consistency. Cut in squares while frosting is warm. Super delicious with ice cream.
