Ingredients: ¼ cup shortening |
|

Directions: Cream shortening, add sugar, egg and lemon juice. Sift flour, salt and baking powder together. Add to shortening mixture alternately with milk. Then add coconut. The batter should be quite stiff. Drop by teaspoons on greased sheet. Allow for spreading. Bake at 385 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes. |
