Ingredients: 1¼ cups cake flour 2 tablespoons cocoa |

Directions: Sift and measure flour. Then sift flour, sugar, baking powder and salt together into a mixing bowl. Melt chocolate and butter together. Mix milk and vanilla. Stir into dry ingredients, muffin method. Add nuts. Blend thoroughly. Pour into well-greased layer cake dish. Topping: Mix together the cocoa, brown and white sugar. Spread over top of cake batter. Pour on boiling water. Bake in 350 degree oven for 1 hour. |
