Chocolate Upside Down Cake

 Ingredients:

1¼ cups cake flour
¾ cup sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 square unsweetened bakers chocolate
¼ teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons butter
½ cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
½ cup broken nut meats

2 tablespoons cocoa
½ cup granulated sugar
½ cup brown sugar
1 cup boiling water

 Directions:

Sift and measure flour. Then sift flour, sugar, baking powder and salt together into a mixing bowl. Melt chocolate and butter together. Mix milk and vanilla. Stir into dry ingredients, muffin method. Add nuts. Blend thoroughly. Pour into well-greased layer cake dish.

Topping: Mix together the cocoa, brown and white sugar. Spread over top of cake batter. Pour on boiling water. Bake in 350 degree oven for 1 hour.
