Butterscotch Sticks

 Ingredients:

½ cup butter
½ pound light brown sugar
2 unbeaten eggs
2 cups flour
2 teasoons baking powder
½ cup nuts
1 teaspoon vanilla

 Directions:

Melt butter, add sugar and cool. Add eggs and beat well, add dry ingredients and then nuts and vanilla. Line pan with waxed paper and bake in moderate oven 30 minutes.
